Workshop Overview: This workshop gave an understanding of the energy system as a whole by describing its different elements and explaining how energy moves through them. This included a description of the aura and its component parts, the chakras, and how they connect into the physical body. We also discussed how energy is absorbed by the body and how the condition of the body affects its ability to absorb energy. A workshop to explain how the human energy system works and how Reiki healing helps to bring it into balance, enhancing our well-being. This type of workshop is an ideal opportunity for people new to healing to find out more and ask questions in an open & safe environment. Usui Reiki First Degree Course I am running this Reiki First Degree Course on the weekend of 12th and 13th November. The course takes place in the Newman Room at Heythrop College in Kensington Square. I am running this course in collaboration with my Usui Reiki teacher Chris Parkes as part of my training to teach Usui Reiki.
